About and contact

Deprem İstanbul brings official earthquake records and published fault maps together in one place. It is an independent information project published by Alderbeam, Inc. It is not affiliated with AFAD, Kandilli or USGS.

How we handle information

We identify data sources, show update times and keep recorded events separate from experimental model results. The model cannot tell you when or where a damaging earthquake will happen. For emergency guidance, follow the relevant public authorities.
